Block Fence Planning for Homeowners
To help you plan your project, we've outlined the basic steps involved in building a block fence:
- Homeowner may obtain permit to build fence through city or county.
- Existing wood fence or vegetation or other landscaping in line with the fence is removed.
- Trenches are dug by machine or by hand when required.
- Concrete footer is put into place by E&S Trenching.
- Masonry contractor has block delivered to home.
- Masonry contractor builds block fence.
Additional tasks may include:
- Wood or wrought iron gate installation
- Stuccoing and painting
- Site cleanup
